The members of the Water Expeditions team are all qualified professionals who are recognized as world experts in their field of expertise. Some of the best kitesurfing instructors, free-diving instructors, action photographers, drone pilots, emergency doctors, are already part of the Water Expeditions project.
The link between all these professionals is the desire to share their experience with you.
All were chosen for their availability, accessibility and a real passion for their sport / field of activity.

Jean Charles Galey

Director

Early instructor (has been teaching kitesurfing since 1999), and founder of Water Expeditions.
What he loves most of all, is to introduce his passion for kitesurfing and teach beginners and experienced wave-riders alike.
First as an employee for Club Mistral, then within his own schools (Sensations Kite in St-Malo, Sonofkite in Le Morne in Mauritius), Jean Charles (JC) has taught this sport to more than 5000 people, supervised on a multitude of different spots, and organized many trips all over the world.

Nathalie Galey

Coordinator

Co-founder of Son of Kite and Water Expeditions, with more than 10 years of experience in the kitesurfing industry, she is able to anticipate the needs and specificities of each expedition.
A naturopath, she also brings her knowledge and gives another dimension to expeditions: food adapted to sports activities, ways to treat the small “bumps” of everyday life by alternative means, relying on the resources of places, sometimes remote, hosting expeditions.

Etienne Lhote

Kite Coach

Pioneer of kitesurfing, since 2000, he started to travel the best spots on the planet as a Freestyle competitor (best Frenchman ranked at the PKRA: 3rd worldwide) or as an ambassador for kitesurf brands.
He then trained to become a Trainer and Instructor, then set up his own kitesurfing school in Brittany.
Etienne has spent a good part of his life on a trip, travelling in order to live the best possible kitesurfing sessions.
His experience is immense and his desire to share it as strong as ever!
